Detailed Day-by-Day Trek Itinerary
DAY 01 • 12 KM HIKE (4–5 HOURS)
Barshaini Base to Kheerganga Alpine Meadow
10:30 AM: Report at our base cafe in Barshaini (next to the bus stand). Safely store extra luggage in our cloakroom, meet your certified trek leader, and receive your trail briefing.
Trail Highlights: Hike through ancient deodar woodlands, cross traditional wooden bridges over the roaring Parvati River, and pass through Nakthan village. Rest for fresh pahadi chai at the thunderous Rudra Nag Waterfall.
Twilight Hot Spring Dip: Arrive at Kheerganga meadow by 3:30–4:00 PM. Check into your cozy alpine tents and head straight for a soothing dip in the natural thermal springs (Parvati Kund). Relish a hot buffet dinner around the evening campfire under a million stars.
DAY 02 • 12 KM DESCENT (3–4 HOURS)
Sunrise Hot Springs & Return Descent to Barshaini
07:00 AM: Wake up to the golden sunrise over snow peaks. Enjoy a serene, quiet morning dip in the hot springs, followed by hot tea and an energizing mountain breakfast.
Descent: Begin the easy downhill hike back to Barshaini via the scenic Kalga forest route. Reach Barshaini by 1:30–2:00 PM, collect your stored luggage, and conclude your trek with lifelong memories.
