DAY 01 • APPROX. 200 KM DRIVE (8–9 HRS)
Dehradun to Sankri Base (6,400 Ft) • Service Starts with Evening Snacks
The Mountain Drive: Board your transfer vehicle from Dehradun for a scenic drive passing Mussoorie, Barkot, Purola, Mori, and along the Tons River into Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. (Transit meals during the road journey at dhabas on direct payment).
Arrival at Sankri: Reach our Sankri base by late afternoon. Hospitality services begin with hot tea & evening snacks. Check in, attend your trail safety briefing, enjoy a warm dinner, and rest for the trek.
DAY 02 • APPROX. 6 KM HIKE (4–5 HRS)
Sankri to Hargoun Camp (8,900 Ft)
Ascent through Pine Forests: Start your hike after breakfast. The trail climbs steadily through dense pine, oak, and deodar forests with fresh mountain air and clearings offering your first snowy views.
Camping at Hargoun: Reach Hargoun Camp (8,900 Ft) by afternoon. Settle into your tents, enjoy hot tea and trail refreshments, have dinner, and spend an overnight stay under starry skies.
DAY 03 • APPROX. 4 KM HIKE (4–5 HRS)
Hargoun Camp to Basecamp (11,250 Ft)
Climbing into the Snowline: Hike upwards from Hargoun Camp toward Kedarkantha Basecamp. The trees thin out into vast white alpine clearings with towering snow ridges all around.
Basecamp Setup: Arrive at Basecamp (11,250 Ft). Collect your microspikes and gaiters, get your summit push briefing, enjoy an early dinner, and sleep early for the sunrise climb.
DAY 04 • APPROX. 6 KM TREK (6–7 HRS)
Basecamp to Kedarkantha Summit (12,500 Ft) & Back to Hargoun Camp
Early Morning Summit Push: Wake up around 2:30 AM to start the exciting summit climb with headlamps and microspikes. Reach the Kedarkantha Summit (12,500 Ft / 3,800 m) right around sunrise.
360° Himalayan Panorama: Witness the golden morning light over Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, and the Yamunotri range. Descend to Hargoun Camp for dinner and an overnight stay in tents.
DAY 05 • 6 KM HIKE + 200 KM DRIVE (8–9 HRS)
Hargoun Camp to Sankri & Return Drive to Dehradun
Downhill to Sankri: A relaxed 6 km downhill walk through pine woods back to Sankri base in 4-5 hours.
Drive to Dehradun: Board your transfer vehicle from Sankri back to Dehradun (Approx. 200 km | 8–9 hrs). Reach Dehradun ISBT/Railway Station by late evening with unforgettable winter summit memories.
