The trek begins from Kareri Village near Dharamshala and takes you through lush forests, wooden bridges, and scenic riverside trails before reaching Kareri Lake (9,650 ft / 2,934 m). Surrounded by towering peaks and alpine grasslands, the lake offers a serene and less crowded trekking experience, making it ideal for beginners and nature lovers.
Best Time: March to June & September to November
Temperature:
Day 1: Dharamshala to Kareri Village (Drive) and trek to Kareri Lake Camp
Day 2: Kareri Lake to Kareri Village and drive back to Dharamshala
Meals:
100% Vegetarian meals including lunch, evening snacks, dinner, and breakfast
Accommodation:
3-sharing alpine tents, separate tents for male and female trekkers, toilet tents at campsite, sleeping bags and mats provided

Wake up early and witness a beautiful sunrise over the Dhauladhar range.
After breakfast, start descending towards Kareri Village through forest trails and riverside paths. Reach by afternoon and drive back to Dharamshala.
